Hopefully this helps someone else looking for a low-cost DAS system.Ĭlick to expand. As long as your installation of XENTRY has a network adapter on the same subnet as the SDConnect, it should find it using network broadcast. That keep me convinced there was some basic setting I was missing but it took a long time to figure out.

Now that I have it working I will probably try upgrading the laptop. Also I am running VMWare Player 15 on an old Windows 7 laptop, its slow but works. Wifi I think requires a different configuration. If that works I assume everything else works. I was able to open DAS and go in and read PSE module. Under DAS go to bin/cal.ini file - open with wordpad and change PLATFORM=PARTD to PLATFORM=PART_T.

I don't recall the full path but go to properties under the DAS icon to see the path. However on the version I used the full installation is on C drive. There is a DAS directory on F drive which is what all other posts reference. The DAS installation files are in the C drive and not F drive. pligg. Finally, SUCESSS with running the C4 MUX.consiga mais informação:Lonsdor K518 and KH100 Program 2020 Toyota All Smart Key Lost (03/19).green ox:Lonsdor K518 and KH100 Program 2020 Toyota All Smart Key Lost (07/23).used cars:Lonsdor K518 and KH100 Program 2020 Toyota All Smart Key Lost (08/22).

You need to swap caesar drivers as xdos uses v 3.3.5.1 and xpt uses 3.3.6.2. If few certain models have issues… seemed to all be models on the border of DAS and Xentry models… ceaser swap sorted it out. Tested on w213 w117 w205 w211 w447 etc without issue. You will find other switch on google as well. Its Open SFX you can see what he has done and make for your Version. ( Works only if Mercedes Benz\Xentry\bin is located c:\Program Files(86) ) Here is SFX- Achieve Switch (exe) which one of the customers uses for switching between XDOS and PASSTHRU in seconds. You can change DAI_APPTYPE from XDOS to XPT, EURO5, XD4NFZ, XDPAD, XDPAD2, 2 locations in registry. But XDOS have some passthru files anyway inside. Mercedes Benz made different installers for open shell and passthru. Is it possible to switch between Xentry XDOS and Xentry Passthru? Can I change my Xentry XDOS configured for MB SD Connect C4 to use with Autel J2534 Passthru? How well does it actually work? I decided to find out by killing power to the PCM in the middle of the programming: The Recovery option is mentioned in the Forscan Programming Guide, but very little detail is given otherwise. So what do you do when something goes wrong? Battery went dead? USB cable got yanked out of the laptop? Forscan provides for that with the Recovery function: Forscan seems to like J-boxes just as well as dedicated USB interfaces? Thus, if you already own a J-box, you likely don’t need to buy another device. Neither had any issues, and both had roughly equal programming times. It’s also worth noting that I ran the programming process repeatedly with both the OBDLink EX and my Autel MaxiFlash/ VXDIAG VCX NANO (integral J-2534 device). Hell, I’d be hard pressed just to get an FJDS two day subscription purchased in three to five minutes, much less get FJDS updated and running.

Plus the estimated programming time of three to five minutes was right on.
